Chad Lee (born May 12, 1992) is the Blue Lightspeed Ranger, Navy Nighlok Ranger, Gold Samurai Ranger, Navy Samurai Ranger and Zodiac Ranger XII: Teal.
History
Before Power Rangers
Before Chad was born, his parents were family friends to the Parnell Family. The Lee family had known the Parnell Family since 1985. When he was 4, he witnessed Mrs. Parnell "bringing home" his childhood friend, Jessie Parnell. He was nearly killed when Jessie, age 7, saved his life by calling 911 after he suffered a concussion when he fell

on his head in Jessie's aunt's pumpkin patch. When he was 10, he lost his father in a kitchen fire, 2 years later, he lost his mother in the destruction of a church, thanks to Diabolico...or so he thought. He was saddened when, at age 13, he was asked to become a Ranger, because Jessie had inspired him so much, he wanted to stay in Colorado with her.
Lightspeed Rescue

Known for his aquatic skills, Chad often spends time scuba diving, feeling connected to the marine life. He brings to the team his exceptional martial arts ability, and water rescue skills. Chad studied under a karate master named Tomashiro, who felt that Chad's true destiny was as a martial arts master and not a Ranger. Tomashiro then helped train a monster named Cyclopter, hoping to replace Chad as his best student (Cyclopter even defeated Chad in battle), until Cyclopter turned on him. Chad remembers everything Tomashiro taught him then and defeats Cyclopter, and Tomashiro even comes to ask Chad for a tour of the Aqua Base. Chad also temporarily had a relationship with the mermaid Marina, but they parted ways eventually. Chad becomes close with fellow Ranger Kelsey during the series. He never forgot about Jessie. Chad often threatened to Captain Mitchell, that he would stop being the Blue Lightspeed Ranger if he did not get to contact Jessie every weekend.
After leaving Lightspeed, Chad became a lifeguard, but returned to help his team fight an undead Vypra with the Time Force Rangers.
It is also known that Chad is the youngest of the Lightspeed Rangers, age 13, turning 14 during episode 28.
Samurai
(As a design) Chad as the Navy Nighlok Ranger
Chad had drifted further apart from Kelsey, so he was on his own. He was at the YMCA in Colorado Springs, Colorado when he reunited with Jessie Parnell. He is kidnapped by Nighlok Tebbi and becomes the Navy Nighlok Ranger. Jessie and Kelsey with the help of the Samurai and Lightspeed Rangers, returned Chad to normal and defeated Tebbi. He marries Jessie at the end of Battle of the Blues Part II. In episode 8, J.J. gives his Gold Ranger Powers to Chad, and He becomes the Gold Samurai Ranger. Chad often argued with either Chellby, calling her an "air-head", or Ian, calling him "hard-aleck".
In season 3 episode 1, Chad, alongside Jessie, Chellby, and Josh, had their bodies swapped with common household items or living organisms. Chad's body was swapped with a stray cat. Though in the body of a cat, Chad could still communicate with his fellow rangers.
He and Jessie were the geniuses behind creating special Scuba Suits

and Powers for the Samurai Rangers. In episode 2, Chad collapsed after a battle with a Nighlok and was hospitalized, diagnosed with Zexal Syndrome, a cancer in the stomach, doctors claimed that he only had 2 months to live. In episode 4 of Season 3, Chad dies in order to save the remaining 9 Rangers who were losing their lifeforce and powers to a twister that was caused by a new Nighlok Jewel, spawned by Xandred's Spirit. When Nikita Ferguson comes to the Cranston House, she was too late to fight alongside the Rangers, because Tebbi had thrown her off of a ravine, Chad's spirit appears and gives her his Gold Ranger Powers. In episode 7, The Rangers defeat Dayu and Yik, who were to marry. Chad was then, resurrected, but his Gold Ranger Powers were gone. Luckily, Billy made a new Samuraizer for him so he can control the element of Ice. (Though his visor is the Kanji for 1)
He then becomes the Navy Samurai Ranger because, the Powerless Nighlok Jewel that had been destroyed, along with its powers, Billy found and Created Ice out of it. Chad used for the rest of the Season, until Tebbi and all her moogers were destroyed, never to be heard from again.
Zodiac Force
Billy works on new morphers, but this time, elements from their Astrology sign. Having been a Taurus, Chad's powers were of Darkness and Paranormal abilities. Chad became Zodiac Ranger XII: Teal. After Chad was reported missing in Power Rangers Zodiac Force episode 22, He appears as Galaxen, when he was possessed by Trazinara. Chad remained Galaxen until episode 27, after he was turned back to normal, after the defeat of Jessie's Uncle Kai, whom he worked with, two series earlier. Chad always felt guilty of being away from Marina (his daughter) and Retired an episode before Jessie. He gave his powers to Lucas Kendall, the Blue Time Force Ranger.
